Four Eyes and Brace Face

Aleise Addison got new glasses this month.  She loves them! 

Emily got braces on, too.  She is not such a big fan but we are looking forward to a straight beautiful smile about 22 months from now!

FUnKy

February always puts me in a funk.  The air is much too cold, the days are too dark and the earth is ugly, brown and frozen.  I am left to deal with cooped up kids, winter flu bugs, too much tv and seasonal affective disorder.  This girl needs her sunshine!  So today I am looking past the forboding frozen February.

Things I am Looking Forward to:

• Today begins the month of Spring birthdays at our house.  Oliver, then Porter, then Noah.  Lots of cake and birthday fun in our near future!
• I see tulips starting to poke up through the earth next to my driveway.
• Our tax returns should be back next week and then we will be DEBT FREE!!! Except for our house.
• We have a condo scheduled in St. George for spring break in three and a half weeks.  Sunshine!!
• We found a 16' above ground swimming pool on clearance for a steal last fall.  I can't wait to put it up!
• Our home improvement project for the year involves tearing out the crumbling back patio and building a new one.  I am picturing a pergola with gaint support posts and gauzy white curtains...

No wonder I want February to be over!
